When: July 15-16, 2026 July 15 12pm-6:30pm with dinner provided July 16 8am-12pm breakfast and lunch provided Location: CPW Monte Vista Office 722 Henderson Rd, Monte Vista, CO 81144 The Bunkhouse is available first come first serve. Please contact [email protected] to reserve a spot. This class is open to CPW full time staff, temporary staff, and CPW volunteers. The goal of this class is to train instructors to become a hunt mentor, provide camp support, and/or assist at skills clinics. Core competencies include program standards and ethics, mentoring tools, group scenarios, conservation, field dressing, and nutrition. Learn what goes into making a hunt successful and how to answer novice hunter questions in the field.
