Come join us for an adventurous night hike! We will be exploring and navigating Cheyenne Mountain State Park trails by the light of the moon. During this hike, we will make stops to discuss the park's history, share facts and stories about the moon, as well as discuss nocturnal wildlife traits. The hike will conclude around 10:00 PM. The Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will have telescopes set up in the Limekiln trailhead parking lot to share the wonders of the universe. Summer presents its own unique sky for viewing and discussing the solar system, as well as deep space objects, so please stick around to explore space with us! Audience: 8 years old and up Location: Meet at the Limekiln Parking Lot, near the trailhead/restrooms Advanced registration and a State Park Pass is required. There are limited spots available for each hike group.
