Join us at Lake Pueblo State Park for Little Naturalists: Secrets of Streams. This program is designed for preschool age children and their grown-ups and will meet at the Cottonwood Picnic Area east of the dam. This week’s Little Naturalists is all about the amazing wildlife that can be found living in and near rivers and streams. Find out the answer to questions like, what is a riparian zone? What animals like to live there? And what makes waterways like rivers so important for wildlife? Join us for a fun storytime, followed by activities and a craft. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All programs are free with a valid State Parks Pass. Registration is NOT required, but it helps ensure there are enough materials for all participants.
