Birdability (Inclusive birding)

Birdability aims to make birding more accessible by improving the physical accessibility of birding locations, empowering a welcoming and inclusive birding community, and introducing people with access challenges to birding. Soldier Canyon Event Facility has a paved walkway down to a paved and covered picnic area, surrounded on two sides by cottonwood trees and facing red sandstone hogbacks where canyon swallows nest. Presenter: Jay Breidt, Fort Collins Audubon Society Ages 8 and up. Participants under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult Location: Soldier Canyon Group Picnic Area Program is free with a valid state parks pass(KCW, $10 day pass, or Colorado State Park Annual Pass) Bring: Water, snacks, binoculars or monoculars and dress for the weather and trail conditions, including sturdy, closed-toe hiking shoes
