Learn about which wildflowers are blooming here at Lory State Park in the month of June! A volunteer naturalist will be leading a hike along Well Gulch Trail with his guidebooks so you can identify native flowers that grow at Lory. Please be at the Well Gulch trailhead next to the South Eltuck parking lot by 9:30 to begin the hike. Registration is free but a daily vehicle pass is required and can be purchased at the visitor center.

Ted S - ALL Lory State Park Volunteers
Retired horticulturist. My most recent job was managing the greenhouse operations at the Gardens on Spring Creek. I also taught Greenhouse Management classes at Front Range Community College. I have been enjoying leading wildflower programs at Lory State Park and have compiled 2 wildflower booklets covering most commonly seen wildflowers in Lory State Park.
