Birds are incredible surveyors, designers, architects and builders and, unlike humans, they need no expensive schooling to obtain their skills. The innate ability to create sturdy and beautiful nests is written in their DNA. They are excellent parents, teachers and guides for their little ones, but occasionally, they may need our help. How can we recognize when and how to help without hurting our feathered friends? Presentations followed by a hike along the Well Gulch Nature Trail to identify birds and look for nests.
