Special Events

Join us for a sleepover in the park! We will provide dinner and breakfast. There will be many activities such as an animal themed movie, night hike, cornhole, volleyball and more! Where: Soldier Canyon Event Facility Once you signed-up you will receive an email with more details about what to bring and where to meet. $20 donation greatly appreciated. Donations can be made in advance via the Friends of Lory State Park PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=2QWWNHVRZU9FS) or with cash day of. If making the donation in advance, please email [email protected] with your name and a confirmation of your donation. Each registration is limited to ONE tent. If you are bringing more tents, please create a separate registration under a different name! Please bring your own... - Tent - Sleeping pad/air mattress - Sleeping bag - Pillow - Portable phone charger - Water bottle(s) - Flashlight - Anything else you may need to spend the night in the park!

I love Lory! I attended programs with my daughter when she was young, and then decided to start volunteering during school breaks. I work at school in special education, and love spending my summers at the parks with kids and folk of all ages. My hope is that you will fall in love with the park like I have.
