Sunset Hike This winter Join us for our sunset hikes, a series of guided hikes in Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The goal of which is to watch the sunset and view wildlife. In the Rocky Mountains, many animals are crepuscular, meaning most active at dawn and dusk. Hiking in the afternoon gives you a better chance of seeing wildlife. The hike is short distance over moderate terrain, but should be doable for most. Appropriate clothing and footwear are advised, as trails are not paved and hike is scheduled rain or shine. Audience: All are welcome. Pets are not allowed.
