Join us for a fun afternoon and evening at Eldorado Canyon, starting with our Winter Wonderland gathering and ending with stargazing! Join us for a fun afternoon and evening at Eldorado Canyon State Park! We will start at 2 pm with an all-ages Winter Wonderland get-together, featuring activities & crafts themed around animal footprints in the snow. At 4:15 pm, Standley Lake Stargazing's Aric Vyhmeister will present an introductory program about the night sky. At 5:15, Stargazing will commence. We will take a look at Saturn and its largest moon, Titan, the Pleiades, the E.T. cluster, the Peseus Double Cluster, the Triangulum galaxy, and possibly some meteors from the Geminid Shower. Concession snacks and drinks will be provided by Friends of Eldorado Canyon State Park!
