Lake Pueblo State Park: Photography Workshop

Education and Outreach - Adults (ages 18 & up)

Join us for a photography workshop taught by David Hayden, local photographer and author of the book "Lake Pueblo State Park". This class is the perfect opportunity for photographers of all levels, and with any type of equipment, to explore the park's diverse and stunning landscapes. Practice capturing the beauty of Lake Pueblo through Photography with David's expert guidance. The workshop will begin with a helpful lecture in the visitor Center Auditorium, after which students will be directed to the Rock Canyon area of the park for an opportunity to practice their skills. This program is geared towards those 16 and older and requires participants to have their own transportation to move from the Visitor Center to the Rock Canyon area of the park. Interested participants 12 and up with a guardian who has transportation are also welcome. This photography workshop is free, however, all participants will need a valid State Parks Pass for entry to the park.
