Help us #LeaveNoTrace at Lathrop State Park on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 am. This Earth Day, we are restoring the health and beauty of our campgrounds by reseeding grassy areas damaged by construction and overuse. Besides taking away from the beauty, invasive plants will take over damaged areas, which negatively impacts the environment. So bring your family and friends and show our planet a little love for Earth Day! Registration is required. We will meet at the Visitor Center at 11:00 am for a safety debrief. Bring water, sunscreen, gloves, and dress in layers for changing weather conditions. Please email [email protected] or call the park at 719-738-2376 ext. 4 if you have questions.
