Help us #LeaveNoTrash at Lathrop State Park on Sunday, June 1 at 9:00 am. Besides making a place ugly, trash is very harmful to wildlife and our environment: wildlife get sick when they eat it, they get hurt when they are caught up in trash, and trash can leak toxins into soil and groundwater. Help us restore the health and beauty of nature by cleaning up the trash left behind. All ages welcome! Registration is required. We will meet at the Visitor Center at 9:00 am for a safety debrief. After the safety debrief, we will drive to the northside trail system (mountain biking trail). Bring water, gloves, sunscreen, and dress in layers for changing weather conditions. Park staff will provide latex gloves and trash bags.
