Come join us at the park for a tour of Fountain Valley Trail while riding on our extended electric golf cart, the Rox Ride! This is perfect for those who would like to experience the beauty of the park without having to hike the trail. A volunteer guide will be driving and providing information on the park. Maximum 5 passengers. All children must be accompanied by an adult and small children must be in a car seat (not provided). This program is dependent on weather and trail conditions, and any cancellations will be communicated to registered participants. Please meet at the roundabout at the end of the parking lots. Benches are available if you show up early. If you are running late, please call the Visitor Center. The driver will wait up to 15 minutes for anyone late.

Bob F - Rox Ride Driver
I have been a volunteer naturalist at Roxborough State Park since 2011. I am involved with Leave No Trace, drive the Rox Ride for senior and disabled guests, monitor the park for fireflies on summer evenings and help out in the Visitor Center. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, singing in my church choir, reading and playing golf. I was born in Iowa, grew up in Omaha and have lived in Colorado since 1979. I have a law degree, and am retired from the wholesale electric utility industry.
