Join volunteers on a guided hike along the easy 2.2-mile Fountain Valley Trail. Learn about the history of our homesteaders and tour the Persse Place and outlying buildings. Meet at the Visitor Center patio at 8:00 am for a brief orientation. Bring water and dress for the weather. Registration required.

General Info
I retired in 2016 after 33 years in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety Consulting where I worked for clients and internally, all over the world. In my spare time, I am an avid hiker and backpacker but also bike, fish, garden, golf, play pickle ball, and many other things. I have been in Colorado since 1984 and a volunteer at Roxborough State Park since 2015. I am involved in raptor monitoring, Leave No Trace, History, and the Colorado Natural Areas Program among other things.
