Join us at Chatfield State Park for Mammoth Fest! We'll have an open house, activities, crafts, a star party, a Paleontologist talk, story time with rangers around a campfire, hot chocolate, s'mores and more to celebrate our new Campground Office and Visitor Center, and, of course, the Columbian Mammoth! After you see the real Columbian Mammoth skull on display, join some interesting and educational activities, including learning about Animals of the Ice Age known as megafauna due to their enormous size. Campground Office. 10am-1pm. Admission is free with a paid park pass.
