Join us in watching as the Perseid Meteor Shower shoots across the night sky! We will be setting up in the Soldier Canyon Parking Lot. There will be some cool telescopes/equipment to look through, provided in partnership with the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society! It will take about 20-30 minutes for your eyes to adjust to the sky once it is completely dark, so please stay long enough to see well. Things to bring with you: - Jacket/Clothing layers - RED light flashlight (Please limit use of headlights/flashlights, as it obscures view of the sky!) - Camp chair or blanket This event is free with a valid State Parks Pass (daily, annual, KCW).
