Strap on your (imaginary) seatbelt and step into our Time Machine Tuesdays series—where we hike through the landscape and back through millions of years of geological history! Join an expert naturalist on this trek as we uncover the ancient stories written in the rocks beneath our feet. From ancient oceans to shifting continents, volcanoes to fossils, each step on the trail brings us deeper into Earth’s past. Location: Arthur's Rock Trailhead Difficulty: This is about a 2-mile hike on a dirt trail that follows part of the Arthur's Rock trail and part of the Shoreline trail. It is easy to moderate. What to Bring: Water, sun protection and sturdy shoes (time travel doesn’t require a DeLorean, just a good hike)!
