Education and Outreach - Adults (ages 18 & up)

Calling all nature-loving adults 55 and up. Silver Rangers is a welcoming program designed to help connect participants to the outdoors and others through guided nature experiences and curiosity. In this class, we will explore Lory's native wildlife species. A local wildlife naturalist will teach you key identifying characteristics and snippets of life history. There will be an interactive activity and a live ambassador animal to meet. What to expect: - Sit-down classroom with intermissions for self-guided exploration - Pelts and furs to explore - Leaflets to take home - Easy-to-use guide suggestions - Meet and greet with a live ambassador animal This is a free program with a Colorado State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual or Daily Pass). Registration is required.

Robin K - Naturalist

Robin graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resources Journalism. She retired from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department where she worked as an Information and Education Specialist. She continues to write articles for Wyoming Wildlife magazine. Robin is an avid wildlife watcher and has visited more than 30 countries on 6 continents in her quest to see wildlife. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband, Greg.
