This is a hands-on hour designed to spark a love for the outdoors and build real ranger skills in a fun, interactive way. Junior Rangers will carry a nature journal to record their observation and exploration of the natural world as we do activities and short hikes. Where: South Eltuck Picnic Area What to bring: water bottle, snack, weather-appropriate clothing, a sense of adventure. This is a free event with a State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual, or Daily).

I love Lory! I attended programs with my daughter when she was young, and then decided to start volunteering during school breaks. I work at school in special education, and love spending my summers at the parks with kids and folk of all ages. My hope is that you will fall in love with the park like I have.
