Join Colorado botany expert Ted Schaaf for a guided hike along the Well Gulch Nature Trail. You will be learning about the native plants of Lory that can be utilized in your backyard landscaping. Water bottle and closed-toe shoes are required. Meet at the Well Gulch Trailhead.

Retired horticulturist with 35 years experience working in the green industry. My most recent job was managing the greenhouse operations at the Gardens on Spring Creek. I also taught Greenhouse Management classes at Front Range Community College. I have experience with leading wildflower programs at Lory State Park and have compiled 2 wildflower booklets covering most commonly seen wildflowers in Lory. I have assiated leading nature hikes with school aged students at Lory State Park.
