Education and Outreach - Adults (ages 18 & up)

Calling all nature-loving adults 55 and up. Silver Rangers is a welcoming program designed to help you connect to the outdoors and each other through guided nature experiences and curiosity. This is an introduction to exploring the outdoors on your own. Many people are nervous to begin to recreate on their own. In this class, we will learn the basics to keeping yourself safe and healthy on an outdoor excursion, including some basic first aid suggestions. We will then complete a self-guided exploration of one of our trails. What to bring: - Water - Snacks - Hiking poles (optional) - Closed-toed hiking shoes - Sun protection This is a free program with a Colorado State Parks Pass (KCW, Annual or Daily Pass). Registration is required.
