Join a geologist who will guide you through Lory State Park’s 1.7 billion year history whose rocks, canyons, and hogbacks tell a fascinating story of repeated mountain-building, erosion and deposition. It will be about 1.5 mile long hike with some gain in elevation. Where: Arthur's Rock Trailhead What to bring: Water, snacks, hiking attire and layers (potential for rain) This is a free program as long as you have a valid State Parks Pass, Keep Colorado Wild Pass, or a $10.00 day pass.
