Slow Down. Breathe Deep. Connect with Nature. Join us for a guided forest bathing walk — a slow, mindful journey through nature designed to awaken your senses and deepen your connection to the natural world. Rooted in the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, this experience invites you to slow down and “take in the forest atmosphere” through gentle, nature-connected prompts. More than a walk, this is a chance to pause, restore, and reawaken your sense of belonging — to yourself and the Earth. The Well Gulch trail is a moderate trail, suitable for most fitness levels. It is 1.7 miles on a single track, dirt trail with rock steps and sections with inclines and declines. We will leave promptly from the Well Gulch trailhead at 8:00 am. Please park at the South Eltuck Parking lot across the street. What to bring: - Comfortable walking shoes, closed-toe preferably - Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, rain jacket if needed) - Water bottle/small backpack to keep hands free - Sun protection and bug spray This is a free program with a valid state parks pass (KCW, Annual or Daily).
