I taught high school science (biology, chemistry, anatomy/physiology, computers) from 1993 to 2013 before pivoting to healthcare. As a teacher, I sponsored an environmental activities club, worked with the DMNS “Colorado Spider Survey” project and volunteered sporadically with various groups. Currently I’m an x-ray technologist for both HCA Swedish Hospital and Rocky Mountain Surgery Center. As I approach retirement age, I’d like to ease out of 50-hour work weeks and get back outside more!
