2025 Boedecker SWA Education Assistance

Area 2 (Loveland/Boulder) is looking for some help to educate Boedecker State Wildlife Area (SWA) visitors this summer season. We would like 1-2 volunteers per shift stationed near the entrance to the parking lot of Boedecker SWA to educate people on the rules of the SWA as they are coming into the lot.

There are four main topics we would like to cover:

1) SWA access permit or a hunting or fishing license needed.

2) All paddleboarders must have a life preserver with them on a paddleboard.

3) No swimming is allowed.

4) There are no pets allowed on the SWA.

We are looking to cover 2 shifts per day (9am - 1pm & 1pm - 5pm) Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. You do not have to help every weekend and we are grateful for any shift you can help! A canopy and water will be provided, please bring snacks and sun protection. Thank you for your time!
