Chatfield Clean-Up Day - Chatfield State Park

Clean Up Project
Come out to our big beach and shore clean up day at the park before Labor Day Weekend! We will be focusing on picking up trash on and near the Swim Beach. Registration, and signing the volunteer waiver, before the event is required. If any children under the age of 16 will be joining, please notify the park ahead of time so we can help get them signed up as well. Check-in will be at the buildings at the Swim Beach. Trash buckets, bags, and trash grabbers will be provided. Please bring your own gear though if you have it, including any gloves! Please meet at the Swim Beach parking lot and bring long pants, closed toed shoes, and plenty of water and sunscreen!

If you do not have a valid park pass and are not visiting the park before or after the clean up event, please notify the entrance gate staff that you are helping with the clean up event and they will waive your entry fee for the volunteering period. If you plan to do anything else in the park before or after, you must have a valid park pass.
