Volunteers support the Wildlife Museum to provide activities and tours of the facility. Must enjoy working with children and people. No experience is necessary; training will be provided.
Attend group training (opportunities for 'shadowing' more experienced volunteers during first shifts). Determined at beginning of each season; shifts are 4 hours on both weekdays/weekends. Volunteers are typically asked to commit to a certain number of dates on a calendar at the beginning of the season, a minimum of at least 6 shifts is most helpful.
Give back to your community while inspiring excitement of local wildlife and habitats, gain community with other volunteers with similar outdoor interests, become a valuable ambassador of wildlife management and CPW, enjoy opportunities for natural resources.
