Volunteers are needed to assist with fishing events throughout SE Colorado, including Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Lamar and Salida. Assist with school groups, large events for all ages, and fishing derbys. We have an annual need for assembling, fixing, and rigging fishing poles and other equipment maintenance. Must have good people skills with the ability to represent the agency in a professional manner.

CPW Festival Ambassadors assist with tables, booths, and other community outreach events. Topics and themes vary, such as bighorn sheep, birding festivals, utilizing skins and skulls, trivia wheel, and other engagement tools. Events may occur on State Properties or at other community venues. Must have great people skills with the ability to represent the agency in a professional manner.

The CPW archery program teaches international-style target archery to members of the public using steps that are safe and encourage success. Volunteer archery instructors teach events and class participants, both youth and adults, archery using CPW established curriculum. Archery events for CPW include structured classes, school programs, and large scale, free-flowing events where participants are only engaged for a few minutes. Volunteer instructors usually work as a team with other instructors.
