Welcome to the River Watch Department!

River Watch is a statewide community science, volunteer water quality-monitoring network supported by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, other partnerships and capable volunteers. Our mission is to create stewards for all water and aquatic resources through hands-on ?chemical, physical and biological monitoring of watershed health and utilize this high-quality data to make informed decision to preserve and restore the condition of Colorado’s water.

This program is unique in its statewide focus, leverage of resources, quality and frequency of data collection and use of the data for diverse watershed management decisions.
