Trail Ambassador


Description:

Trail Ambassadors may:

  • walk, hike, bike sections of the trails within the park to greet other visitors
  • answer questions
  • remind them of safe and responsible trail etiquette
  • share unique historical and natural features of the park as situations prompt.

Volunteers must act as responsible role models exhibiting a friendly face to the public, great personal trail etiquette, and leave no trace practices.

Time Commitment:

Hours are flexible but there are expectations to commit to a number of Ambassador days spent over the course of a year.

Volunteer Benefits:

For those stewards who want to share their love and passion with others, this is a great way to enjoy the park's trails while also educating others.
