General Volunteers

Description:

Now it is easier than ever to join our volunteer program and help make a difference in the park! Join as a General Volunteer and you can sign up to help in events and projects that require a group effort. This can include helping with:

  • Set up and take down public events on weekends
  • Removing weeds or maintaining trails with our Weed Warriors and Trails Team
  • Special projects like inventorying historical artifacts
  • Greeting visitors during events or running an arts and crafts table for visitors

All volunteers start as General Volunteers once the required orientation and training is completed. After becoming a General Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to apply and join the training for other volunteer positions in the park if you would like.
