Visitor Services
- Description:
Assist Ridgway State Park with a variety of clerical, general office support duties, or fee collection. This position is perfect for a volunteer who enjoys interacting with people, has good customer service and communication skills, and who enjoys working in a retail sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones
- Assist visitors
- Sell park passes
- Retail sales
- Restocking inventory
- Other tasks as assigned
Elevation:
6800 feet
Looking for 1 host for the 2024 season!
Couples/Pairs preferred. Individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) will still be considered. Hosts are permitted to have pets.
- Time Commitment:
Ideally, we are looking for those who can commit from May-Labor Day at minimum. We require 24 hours a week for each individual person in exchange for a free full hook-up campsite

Amenities:
Volunteers receive a full hookup campsite and will have access to public land, historical mountain towns, and a large variety of outdoor recreation options. This location is in high demand due to the natural beauty and amazing team atmosphere! Hosts also enjoy informal get-togethers and are an integral part of the park's team and success.
After 48 hours of volunteering, the volunteer will receive a Free Colorado State Parks annual pass.
