Campground Office Assistance


Description:

This position supports some of our administrative functions in our campground office. There are a variety of tasks you might preform while in this volunteer role, here are some of the main ones:

  • Shares camping information/ trail recommendations with campers who visit the office
  • Sells park passes, hunting and fishing licenses, gift shop merchandise
  • Processes some specialty vehicle, snowmobile, boat registrations
  • cleaning office restrooms
  • restocking brochures
  • answering phone and email inquiries

If you are looking to learn more about Colorado Parks and Wildlife and get your foot in the door, this is a great opportunity where you will learn a lot about our administrative processes and how the agency functions.

Support is needed in this position from November through the end of March, you will receive training on our Point of Sales system and other administrative processes that you might help with.

This position does not come with a campsite, volunteers must have their own housing in the area.

Time Commitment:

8 to 16 hours a week on the weekends from November to March

Accessibility:

This position will occasionally require moving heavy boxes of new merchandise.
