River Watch Program Assistance


Description:

River Watch is a program that provides equipment to schools and adult groups to monitor rivers in their community. This data is used in water management decisions. The program manages lots of equipment and data and needs assistance at CPW Denver Headquarters.

Requirements:

We are looking for a one year commitment that equates to 3-4 hours per month to help process samples and manage inventory, equipment, and data. Work at CPW Denver Headquarters must be done on weekdays but can be flexible each month as long as consistent. No experience necessary, and all training will be provided. Basic Microsoft excel experience preferred, all other training will be provided.

Additionally, we manage data from macroinvertebrate analysis to chemical data and routinely update reports summarizing the data by watershed. We are looking for volunteers able to work remotely 5-10 hours per month on data analysis, report writing and website updates (wordpress).
