Bluebird Monitoring
- Description:
This volunteer role ‘adopts’ local nest boxes at a specific site in the Montrose/Ridgway area and assists with cleaning and monitoring bluebird houses. You may also help build and mount new bluebird houses.
- Time Commitment:
Early Spring through August. By April boxes need to be checked every 10 days to 2 weeks.
- Volunteer Benefits:
Help monitor the vitality of local bluebird populations and provide important data information from 'the field'.
