Education Program Assistance


Description:

Support CPW Staff and the Outdoor Understanding for Teachers (OUT) professional development program in the Southwest Region. Volunteers may assist in leading a variety of CPW education/outreach programs for teachers and/or students during the school year.

Programs may include:

  • school field trips
  • academic programs
  • interpretive programs
  • and/or outdoor skill programs (such as archery and fishing).

Year-round support may include educational or logistical assistance at teacher trainings and/or community outreach events.

Volunteer Benefits:

Share knowledge and skills with youth and teachers to promote outdoor-related learning experiences. Opportunities to attend wildlife and outdoor-related training and enrichment workshops and trainings with CPW and partners.
