The Island Acres Section of James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park is seeking hosts with a wide variety of skills and experiences! Should be in good physical condition and enjoy working with the public. Contact the Park Ranger listed for additional information. Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
Campground hosts are responsible for:
4,700 ft.
Pairs, families, and individuals accepted, and hosts are permitted to have pets.
24 hours per person per week. Time commitment is a minimum of two months, May through September.
Flexible schedule with options to assist with maintenance and/or the visitor center, in addition to camp host role. Hosts receive a free, 50 amp campsite while serving at a state park that is close to a wide variety of outdoor recreation opportunities, not to mention the proximity to local wineries and vineyards!
Full hookup campsite with 50 amp electricity is offered in return for volunteer service. Cell service is available.
In addition to these amenities, James M. Robb State Park can provide propane to subsidize hosts needs. Please reach out to the admin contact for more information about this benefit.
