Description:

Assist Ridgway State Park with maintaining the beauty and safety of the park by helping with building and grounds maintenance, special construction projects, equipment maintenance and repair, and trail support.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean grounds and facilities
  • Special and seasonal maintenance
  • Construction projects
  • Vehicle repairs
  • Trail maintenance

Elevation: 6800 feet

Looking for 2 hosts for the 2023 season! Couples/Pairs preferred.  Individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) will still be considered. Hosts are permitted to have pets.

Time Commitment:

24 hours per week per person, April - October.

Minimum time commitment: 2 months

Desired time commitment: 2-5 months

Volunteer Benefits:

Sweeping views of the San Juan and Cimarron mountain ranges in addition to close proximity to Ouray and Telluride.

Amenities:

In exchange for volunteer service, hosts receive a free, full hookup campsite in a beautiful location! Campsites include water, sewage, electric (50 amp), and cell service
