Volunteer Hosts assist Chatfield's Visitor Services and Campground Maintenance Departments with the day-to-day operations of our Campground Office, Park Entrance Gates, and Campground Maintenance program. In exchange for volunteer hours, Volunteer Hosts receive a full hook-up campsite (water sewer, and electric {20, 30, & 50 amp service}, volunteer appreciation events, and a free State Parks pass after volunteering 48 hours.
Chatfield offers complimentary public WiFi, coin laundry, and a beautiful place to call home.

Pairs, individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) are welcome to apply. Hosts are permitted to have pets. Computer skills to help in the gates/office is always a bonus.

Each Volunteer Host campsite is responsible for 32-40 hours per week (4-5 days per week) depending on the season, including major holidays and weekends. Length of Service: varies, 3 month minimum.
Occupy a full hookup (water, electric, sewer) campsite for your volunteer season, free of charge. Strong cell service and WiFi.
