Resident Volunteer (Winter)

Description:

This unique position offers seasonal housing (no pets allowed), as there is no room during winter for campers/RVs and still be able to use winter equipment to plow and pile snow. There are two weeks where new rangers need the seasonal housing for training. These are typically Sunday to Thursday events and we ask that hosts find a different place to sleep during those two weeks. Winter host roles include: yurt cleaning, snow removal, snow grooming, trail ambassador, wildlife monitoring, other programming, maintenance, and miscellaneous projects.

Time Commitment:

20 hours per person per week
