Stagecoach State Park is a hidden gem in the Yampa Valley only 20 minutes South of Steamboat Springs and 10 minutes West of Oak Creek. Our staff is a great team that is easy to work with and there are plenty of opportunities to learn and participate in other areas of the park including, but not limited to, education, boating and wildlife viewing.
All volunteer host applicants should have good customer service and people skills, general clerical skills, and general RV and camping knowledge. Park staff will provide training on specific duties and policies as needed. Hosts are responsible to walk their loop twice per day when on duty.

24 hours per person per week. Time commitment is 3-5 months, May - September.
Stagecoach State Park sets the stage for great recreation in the lush Yampa Valley near Steamboat Springs. Vistas and views are backdrops to the 820 surface acre reservoir providing renown lake and river fishing. During summers water sports enthusiast enjoy many ways the recreate at the reservoir. The staff is the highlight of the park creating a great atmosphere to work with and plenty of activities to participate. This is a great location for your next adventure!
Who ever comes and volunteers at Stagecoach they become family. We host bbq/potlucks every month to continue the engagement with all the staff and volunteers.
