Become a Volunteer Naturalist at Castlewood Canyon and enjoy the unique beauty and history of the park! Volunteers have opportunities year-round to participate in educational workshops, hikes and social events. Volunteer Naturalists present educational programs to school groups and park visitors, hike the trails, work in the Visitor Center, work on special projects, complete trail projects, and monitor a variety of birds throughout the park.
Volunteer Naturalists must enjoy working with people and have a love for the outdoors. Training is required to become a Naturalist at Castlewood Canyon and the first Naturalist training class will be on Saturday, January 25th.
