Resident Volunteers at Castlewood Canyon State Park assist with day-to-day
operations of our Visitor Center Office.
Access to 13 miles of hiking trails, our park is a day use only park (open from sunrise to sunset) with no campgrounds to the public, close to Castle Rock and Colorado Springs, grocery store within 10 miles, 30 miles from
Denver.

We welcome couples, individuals, families with children, and people who are still working/in their
careers (e.g. working remotely) to apply. Hosts are permitted to have
pets. Prior gate attendant/visitor office, and IPAWS software experience is preferred.
Resident Volunteers are an important liaison between park visitors and park staff.
Resident Volunteer is responsible for a minimum of 20 hours per week (2-4 days per
week)

In exchange for volunteer hours, Resident Volunteers receive a full hook-up campsite (water sewer, and electric {1-10, 30 & 50 amp service}), a firepit, picnic area, and a free State Parks pass after volunteering 48 hours.
