Boat Ramp Shuttle Driver


Description:

Navajo State Park's shuttle driver program is one of the most popular of volunteer activities in the park! Service includes driving a passenger utility vehicle between the overflow parking lots and the marina. The shuttle service is free to the public from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Amenities:

A full-service campsite is provided for 18-20 hours of service per driver per week. A machine/park orientation is required.

Time Commitment:

Time to complete orientation. Two 4.5 hour shifts per day of operation (weekends only as well as holidays that fall on Mondays). Travel time to and from park. Volunteer is able to choose what shift they want to drive as long as it is available. Shuttle runs Sat, Sun and holiday Mondays 9am to 6pm
