Angler Outreach Training - Colorado Springs (Area 14)/SE Region Office
Monday, 24 August 2026 @ 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM
Orientation or Training
Someone once handed you a rod, tied your first knot and showed you how to cast. Now it’s time for you to reel in the next generation! From new anglers to those with a lot of experience, this hands-on training will give you the skills and know-how to share your love of fishing in Colorado with others. From ethical fishing to knot tying, we'll run you through the angling basics, and cover topics such as Colorado ecosystems, fish morphology, native and non-native aquatic species, and include information on how to teach these skills to other new anglers! Training will be held in person at the SE Region Office Classroom located at 4255 Sinton Rd, Colorado Springs. The classroom is located on the backside of the building, look for the triple glass doors marked "Classroom" to enter.
