Beaver Creek State Wildlife Area needs your help! Property technician Jay Adamic will be laying approximately 4,000 feet of irrigation pipe over the course of 7 days for the purpose of moving water more efficiently to better serve wildlife food plots and habitat productivity. His work days will begin at 7am and run until 5pm, but ANY hours of physical exertion that you're willing to contribute would go a long way to supporting this effort! Pipe sections are long and awkward, requiring a 2-person team to hand carry them 20-100 yards over hilly terrain to get to the ditch. Bring work gloves and plenty of water. Wear sturdy boots with long pants, ankle gaiters may be desired as this property is rattlesnake habitat! There are no bathrooms on site. Beaver Creek SWA lies approximately 30 min from Canon City; 1:15 hours from CO Springs.
