Earth Day Project: Green Up CPW's Headquarters! - CPW Headquarters

Clean Up Project
Take action on this Earth Day, which also falls during National Volunteer Week! CPW Headquarters is located in an industrial part of Adams County. However, there is a small pocket of storm water area between our building and I-25. Believe it or not, there have been animals like deer and coyotes spotted in this small pocket of urban habitat, along with important pollinators that visit our small pollinator garden! CPW has been tasked with cleaning up this area to protect stormwater drains and detention ponds. Join CPW staff and our Green Team to pick up trash and sort recycling! We will provide gloves, buckets, trash pickers, and snacks. What better way to celebrate Earth Day and National Volunteer Week? Please wear sturdy, closed-toed footwear, long pants, and long sleeves. Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat for sun protection. Consider layers for spring weather!
