Habitat Project

Come help improve habitat at Andrick Ponds State Wildlife Area by assisting with tree and shrub planting! We will be planting and assortment of juniper, cedar, choke cherry, and sumac to support habitat for small game, large game, and upland birds. Please bring work gloves, food, water, and any necessary clothing to be outside for the duration of the work day. All other necessary tools will be provided. **Trees and shrubs will be hand planted using shovels, expect a fair amount of stooping, standing, and walking on uneven ground** We will have water jugs to refill water bottles, and there is a bathroom available on site.
