This welcome and information session will give new volunteers a chance to meet staff & existing volunteers, learn about the Colorado Parks & Wildlife mission, and how you can get involved with us! The work that our volunteers do is meaningful and impactful to our communities, the wildlife, and our natural play areas. We are excited for you to join our team and start making a difference! Meeting will be 1.5 hours long and brunch will be provided! Meeting will be held inside the Lathrop State Park Visitor Center - 70 County Road 502, Walsenburg, CO. You will not need a park pass to attend this meeting, identify yourself as a new/existing volunteer if the gate attendant asks.
