Join CPW at the annual Cinco de Mayo Festival in downtown Denver! Our goal at this event is to interact with visitors, promote the Keep Colorado Wild pass, promote water safety, give tours of & discuss CPW's Aquatics tank truck, and share hunting and fishing flyers. Please don't let perceived language barriers prevent you from volunteering at this event! Most conversations are in English. What to Bring/Wear: Please wear a CPW volunteer logoed shirt and/or hat. If you don't have one, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible so we can provide you with one. Plan for the weather - wear layers, bring sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle, and comfortable shoes. CPW will provide snacks and extra waterbottles. Transportation and Parking: Consider taking public transit (such as the light rail) to Civic Center Park. If you need to drive, the cheapest and closest parking option may be the Denver Art Museum's parking garage. If the cost of parking is a barrier for you, please email [email protected]. We can reimburse volunteers for parking costs for this event. Please avoid surface lots as they tend to be more expensive.
